1. Who we are
Ripped! Restock (displayed as "Ripped! Restock") is an iOS workflow app published by Bo Jackson Battle Arena, Inc. (dba BoBattle). The app lets authorized staff at partner retail shops record short videos and photos of product restocks and submit them to our internal review team for approval. It is not a social network — there is no public feed, no user-to-user messaging, and no discoverable content.
2. Information we collect
All of the data below is linked to your user account. None of it is used to track you across other apps or websites.
Contact information
Name, email address, phone number — used to create and operate your account.
Account data
An internal user ID we generate to identify your account within our systems.
Precise location
GPS latitude and longitude captured at the moment you record or submit a restock, for verification (geo-stamping). Collected only while the app is in the foreground, and only when you are creating a submission. We do not track your location in the background.
User content
Photos, videos, and the audio embedded in those videos, recorded within the app as part of restock submissions.
Diagnostics
Crash reports and performance telemetry — stack traces, device model and manufacturer, iOS version, app version, and network type. Used to diagnose and fix problems in the app.
We do not collect advertising identifiers (no IDFA), contacts, browsing or search history, payment information, health or fitness data, financial information, purchase history, or ad conversion data.
3. How we use it
- Contact info, account data, user content, precise location — App Functionality. We use this data to operate the submission workflow: authenticating you, accepting your submissions, geo-stamping them, and routing them to your shop owner and our review team.
- Crash data — App Functionality. Used to detect and fix crashes.
- Performance data — Analytics. Used only to understand app performance (for example, slow screens or failed requests) so we can improve reliability. Sent to Sentry (see §4).
We do not use any of this data for advertising or marketing.
4. Sharing and third-party processors
We share data with the processors listed below, and only for the purposes described.
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc. dba Sentry) — crash and performance monitoring. Receives stack traces, device metadata, and limited session context. Sentry does not receive form inputs or submission content (photos, videos, audio).
- Apple Inc. — App Store distribution and the Apple Push Notification service (APNs), used to deliver notifications about your submissions.
- Laravel Cloud — hosts our API backend at
api.ripped-restock.com, where your account data and submissions are stored.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertising networks or data brokers. We do not share your submissions with anyone outside your shop owner and BoBattle's internal review staff.
5. Device permissions
iOS will prompt you before granting any of these. You can revoke them anytime in Settings → Ripped! Restock.
- Camera — to record restock videos and photos.
- Microphone — to capture the audio track in restock videos.
- Location (While Using) — to geo-stamp a submission at the point of recording. Foreground only.
- Photos — if you choose to attach an existing photo from your library to a submission.
- Push notifications — to tell you when a submission is approved, denied, or needs more info.
6. Data retention
- Submissions (photos, videos, audio, location, metadata): retained until you or your shop owner delete them, or until your account is deleted.
- Account data: retained for as long as your account is active; removed on account deletion (see §7), subject to legal or audit holds.
- Diagnostics: retained by Sentry for up to 90 days, then automatically purged.
7. Your rights
Everyone
- View and edit your profile in-app under your account settings.
- Request account deletion in-app. A request is reviewed by an admin. You can cancel it at any time before an admin approves it. Once approved, your account and associated personal data are permanently deleted, subject to the retention exceptions in §6.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to delete it, to correct it, to receive a portable copy, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of it. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
EU / UK residents (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to the processing of, and port your personal data. Our legal bases for processing are (a) performance of a contract — operating your account and the submission workflow, and (b) our legitimate interests in diagnosing crashes and improving app reliability. 8. Children
Ripped! Restock is a business workflow tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users aged 13–17 may use the app only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
9. Security
- Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS / TLS.
- Data at rest on our backend is encrypted.
- Authentication tokens on the device are stored in Apple's Keychain.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.
10. Changes to this policy
We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we make changes. If the change is material, we'll also notify you in-app.
